My ideal pad will not allow me to feel as though I'm wearing a diaper! Particularly, a wet diaper! I'm still experiencing my post-baby reprieve, but I'd ABSOLUTELY LOVE to try out cloth pads whenever AF decides to show up :-)

My ideal cloth pad would be breathable! Washable, and ladylike - I want a CUTE one, with nice fabric so that I can look forward to my lady-days instead of dreading the thought, for the following reasons :
1. all of that paper-product waste that the store-bought sanitary products cause.
2. the horrible, awful feeling that store-bought products cause. there is nothing empowering about them.
3. make me feel like i'm hiding something cute, instead of something plastic-y, unbreathable (EW!) and above all, icky, messy, etcetera.

cloth pads eradicate ALL of those problems for me.

My ideal pad would not have that chemical smell, that makes AF last longer than it should...

Currently looking into cloth pads for when it all returns.

My ideal pad would be super soft, super absorbent but still smaller then a disposable, bight and colourful & stain resistance

My ideal pad would work and feel better than the disposables.

About a year ago, I made the switch to cloth pads (both pads and panty liners). They are fantastic and I'll never buy disposable again (for so many reasons). I'd love to try the Naturally Hip style-those look great and maybe those are the ideal pads!). Thanks for the giveaway! Rachel

I've been using cloth pads (mostly from Naturally Hip) for the past 3 years (off and on as I've had babies) What I love about them:
1) can reuse (unlike disposables)
2) easy to clean and super absorbent
3) comfortable panti-liners

What could make them even better:
1) less bulky feel with nighttime pad (although probably not realistically possible)
2) prettier colours (that's really my fault though . . .)
3) having a snap (or some attachment) on all of them (since I sometimes forgot I was wearing a pantiliner and it ended up in the toilet (or very close!) ;-P

It would have to be soft and absorbent yet breezy and pretty!

My ideal pad would be the opposite of bulky -- I never wear pads (only tampons and pantiliners) because they always feel like a big wadded-up ball of socks between my legs. I also tend to wear thongs, so one of the thong pads would be ideal for me. Thanks for offering this awesome giveaway!

Definitely micro-fiber topped and cotton backed are my favorite with a really cute design!

Ooo I've wanted to try these for so long, perfect opportunity. My ideal pad would be one which didn't stain and which you could wash easily. Also my main fear with cloth pads is the bulk, so as little bulk as possible while still being absorbant.
Not asking for much am I!?

My ideal pad is flannel or hemp 17 inches long, but not quite as wide, which give me a pinch and have wings. STylish and funky prints. I love NH pads, just wish the extra long ones wouldn't be so wide through the middle.

ShabbyNChic said...

Ideal pad would be absorbant, but not thick and about 6 inches long - length is very important to comfort. Tweeted: http://twitter.com/shabbynchic

Living said...

Absorbent, but not thick. Fairly long, but not so long that it shows at the back under reasonably tight clothes. It would be in a colour that wouldn't show through underwear too, but that would be easy to see how... 'full' it is I suppose. So, though my underwear is often black, not black. reasonably wide, but not so that it squishes up between my legs because it's *too* wide!
Can fold up easily for taking home. (I've never had cloth pads before).
Wings!

Monique said...

One that works. I've never used one before, but I'm going to place an order sometime tonight!

Penny said...

Hurrah! Okay my ideal cloth pad is: slightly longer at the back,
the wings are quite wide so it doesn't matter if it moves,
it's padded in the middle but not the wings (I hate when it all bunches up),
a darker colour (I am totally cool with chatting about periods and so on, but I still don't love my white cloth pad!),
flannel!!

I made a couple but the press studs weren't super. So nice press studs also.

Got all that? :D

Super soft on the top, with smooth padding in the middle, quality snaps on the wide wings & most importantly, a super cute, funky fabric back!!!

My ideal cloth pad would be breathable and absorbent! I've been considering going green in this "area" for a while now! I'm so happy I found your post, win or not, I'll be trying them out!

Thin and breathable!

Excellent! I love these.

My ideal cloth pad is one which is comfortable, and doesn't feel....bumpy when I sit down. I also like pads that don't feel as if they are going to fall off. I always have that concern, nightmare, that it's going to fall out while walking, even when having the wings.

Wow, I've never tried fabric pads before. These sound great!
Thanks for the great giveaway!

Here is post on my blog; http://coolabahtree.wordpress.com/2009/08/16/girly-stuff-eco-style/

It's a new blog and I'm still learning the ropes, but everyone should feel free to stop by and say hello!

My ideal pad would not bunch up and would stay in place regardless of how much I move. And it would have wings that don't get tangled in the velcro that holds them together. Also something that absorbs quickly so I don't feel like I'm wearing a diaper. I have been considering cloth pads, because they don't look like they bunch up like disposable ones do.

thin, as I am usually using the diva cup, and would love some added protection, that doesn't slip around. not that I have ever experienced a leak with the diva, but still peace of mind would be welcome.

My ideal pad would be extra-long. I love cloth pads because they're more breathable, reusable, and I don't feel like I'm wearing a plastic diaper... but I am a larger person and most of them are too short for me. :( I usually go with the nighttime pads but sadly on Etsy those can be harder to find.

my ideal would be soft, absorbent and pretty! these look lovely and i've been wanting to try out cloth pads...

jfify said...

soft, absorbent and long

BixiandGoxi said...

It should be made of pretty "feminine" fabrics and , unfortunately, extra-long and absorbent :o))

My ideal cloth pad would be very comfortable and natural-feeling. My ideal cloth pad would be absorbent and leak-free.
My ideal cloth pad would be easy to attach to my panties, easy to take off.
My ideal cloth pad would not crumple up on itself and leave my nice panties exposed to the- um- elements.
And of course, my ideal cloth pad would be beautiful, not something to hide or be ahamed of.

Tami Jo said...

oooo ooo I already posted but I thought of something else... my ideal pad would come with it's own little "wet bag" so when out I would have somewhere to keep it until I got home!

I've always wanted to try cloth pads, but never taken the plunge, so to speak. This one looks pretty groovy!

Lovely! my ideal pad, although absorbant and soft and soothing feeling, must be absolutely so gorgeous and Awe inspiring with colours and quilting, that I just love wearing the loveliness - even if others do not see it!
